Character Design Week 3

Since the interim crit many changes have been made to my theory and styles of the siren. The character should appear to be more human which means lose the wings of a bird. the wings will be designed into the dress. The dress design will remain revealing, with the top covering where needed and converting to string/rope wraps around the middle and a two part joining the bottom. the first part of the skirt is a full size skirt wrap with a split up the center of the front and another piece which flows behind the front split. The colouration of the dress will be red and black or possibly red and purple. I will try a variation of colours and see what looks best.

Idea 3 same as design idea 2 with larger, curlier wings.

I wonder if I could have possibly moved too far away from the original siren harpy idea. Maybe the hair should look like a foxes tail to maintain the fix features and return the tail design from a bird of paradise.

The dress design is appealing for such a villainous character, although the edges should be made sharper and less rounded.

Idea 2 dress needs a bit of work but the character is looking less cuddly with her foxy hair joining her tail and wings of a bat. The wings need to be larger and possibly more edgy.

Idea 1 has emerged as a human form of femme fatal with the wings from an eagle and the tail of from a bird of paradise. this image has been put together quickly from other images to see what outcome would be.

For my next design idea I shall create the creature with more features of a fox to give a sense of cunning abiltys. i will also change the wings they are to soft. Other than her human form my character looks to be to soft and gentle. she is more of an angle figure rather then a the seductress i am aiming for.
